Recipe:
~1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
~1 cup sugar
~2 eggs
~1 teaspoon vanilla
~3/4 cup sifted flour
~5 tablespoons cocoa
~1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8-by-8 inch or 9-by-9 inch pan. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Add vanilla. Add flour, cocoa, and salt. Combine throughly. Spread in pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
-Once in a while, for a special treat, I add chocolate chips to the batter. You could also sprinkle confectioners' sugar on top if desired.
Blessings on your day, Julia :)

Mmmmm, looks like a really good recipe! I love your note, 'who can go wrong with chocolate?' So true, isn't it? I will have to try baking these soon.
